My new adventure's

Just a couple of funny pictures & new updates
Davis loves to be wrapped up tight for naps. We are working on getting him to take longer naps during the day. The 30-45min naps are not cutting it. Night time he's been sleeping through the night since he was 10 weeks. We are so lucky!
Stroll outside
We love going on walks around the neighborhood. We go on one everyday where he usually falls asleep shortly after. It's pretty bright outside so we had to buy some cool shades.

These sunglasses crack me up, you would think they would fit his chunky face.

Hunting outfit
I know hunting season isn't until fall, he just wanted to let his daddy know he's ready.

We are working on sitting up, almost there but he still falls over. He's starting to like the bumbo seat, at first he would get really mad if we even put him in it.

His little rock n' roll outfit

I gave Davis his first hair cut.
Now he looks like a little boy. His hair was so out of control I just had to cut it. I was really surprised he never lost any of his hair since he was born.

We have no idea how much he weighs, next week we go to his 4 month checkup. Jason and I are guessing he weighs 18-2o pounds. We will keep you posted.

Happy mother's day!

Wishing all the mom's a Happy Mother's Day!
I first have to say thank you to my little boy to make this day possible for me. He really is the best thing that has ever happened to me and my husband.
We started the day off with my husband making me some mother's day breakfast, it was delicious and so sweet of him.
We celebrated the day at Grandma Darlene's and then to Grandma Jaeger's. Everyone loves holding and giving Davis so much love. What a cutie pie!
I loved celebrating Mother's day, it kind of felt like my birthday.

I am so proud to be his mommy!

Me and my mom with little davis eating his hand, I think he might be teething. Don't worry my brother took this picture with his hand right in the way.

It was also Saydra birthday party! She is getting so big and is so beautiful. We had birthday cake and had presents. Happy 8th birthday Saydra.

I have a feeling this is what he is going to look like on his 1st birthday! I thought this pic was so funny of him screaming, he didn't like that birthday hat so much.

My little Easter baby

My 1st Easter
Davis was so surprised to see that the Easter bunny came to our house. He got his very first Easter basket filled with teething toys, books, clothes, and candy. I am pretty sure Jason and I will eat all the candy. Next year we will take him to see the Easter bunny and get some fun pictures of that. We went to Jason's family first for a fantastic lunch. Grandma Darlene and Grandpa Reeder gave Davis some diapers and a learning push bear. Then we were off to the Jaeger's for dinner and a game of tripoly. Grandma and Grandpa Jaeger gave Davis a cute bib and Easter basket filled with candy and toys. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for all my wonderful gifts. Everyone just loved his cute outfit and loved holding him the whole time. He is so lucky to have such a loving family.

Where has time gone...

Well I go back to work April 1st, what a joke! I can't believe my maternity leave has come to an end. Who would ever want to leave this cutie at home? I just know I am going to be so sad and miss him a ton. Good thing he's in good hands with his Daddy and Grandma.
I have my leggins on

It's shot time!

Ouch!!!!

Our little boy is now 9 weeks old. We took Davis for his Dr. appointment yesterday. He weighs 12 pounds and is growing like a weed. He had 4 shots yesterday and he did so good, barely let out a scream. We took extra good care of his little legs and gave him so many kisses that day. Poor guy!

Mommy's little monster!

I love to be held

He is getting so strong and lifting up his head

Here is what we have been up to in the last six weeks. Davis loves taking bathes but hates when it's time to get out due to being cold. He never skips meals so he's getting pretty chunky. At night time he sleeps pretty good, I still wake up a couple times to feed him. It's funny how everyone tells you all they do is eat, sleep, poop, and cry because it's TRUE. We have lately noticed that Davis is dealing with some colic, so he likes to scream. We have tried about everything to help this little guy and nothing seems to work. They say he will grow out of it by three to four months, I am hoping he grows out of it by two months. We enjoy every minute of him even if he is crying. Being a mom and dad is so amazing and we can't believe he is ours.
