Baby Shower & Baby update

Jason & I have finally decide on a baby name, Davis Brigg Reeder.

We went to our Dr. appointment today and everything went well. The baby is 7 pounds 2 oz.

Our doc couldn't give us an update because the babies head was too far down into the pelvis. He couldn't feel my cervix, but he said were getting really close and it could be any time now. We will probably get induced next weekend if I don't go on my own. As of right now I feel pretty good and I'm still working at the spa. I have gained 23 pounds and don't have any stretch marks yet, I hope it stays that way.

This last Sunday my mom threw me a family baby shower. My mom put together cute baby shower decor and yummy food, it all matched with baby blue. We just got together and hung out and enjoyed each others company.

These are all my mom's really good friends. They are a really fun group of girls, especially when we go to wendover together. I will have to say they are a little wild.

Baby update

37 weeks

We went to our Dr. appointment today to get an update on the progress of the baby. Everything looks great, he is measuring 6lbs. 8 oz. He said that usually the measurements are a pound off. Today is the first time he checked to see if there was any progress. My cervix is thinning out about 80% and dilated to a 1. I know that doesn't really mean anything, but I'm glad to know that things are moving. Now it's time to start getting ready for the little one. This is what we have been doing: packing bags, getting baby's room ready, and giving Jason some diaper changing practice.

Recent belly update

Just finished converting our guest bedroom into a play room. I found these cute vinyl decor pictures, I think our little boy will just love them.

Gotta have a basketball hoop in the play room.

Jason helped me cut out all the dots and dinosours and stick them on the walls.

Jason getting some practice on changing diapers. We got a pretty good laugh out of watching him change his little niece.

Getting a little hands on training never hurts.

He did such a great job! He is going to be such wonderful dad.
