It's almost Christmas!

Jason & I are not putting up a Christmas tree this year so I thought I would enjoy the decorations of others instead. I just figured we would have to put up Christmas every year after having the baby. I will be pretty pregnant by the end of December anyways. I will just kick my feet up and enjoy the Holidays.

My first Christmas, coming soon....
Jason's mom bought this cute little bear for the baby.

On Sunday we went to my parents home for our families Thanksgiving dinner and game night. Football was on and everyone was stuffing their faces. It was a lot of fun to visit with the family and place some Tripoly.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Darlene's home. She over did herself once again, look how amazing the table looks and the food was wonderful. We had the easy job of just bringing a side salad and dessert. We are really thankful for having such a wonderful family and such great cooks. Jason's mom sent us home with a week supply of leftovers. Yum! Yum!

Happy Birthday Darlene!

Happy Birthday DarleneSaydra & Grandma Darlene
Jason & his mommy

Darlene, Saydra, Zabryn, and Jaime
On Friday Nov. 21 we celebrated Darlene's Birthday. Have you ever seen such a beautiful 61 year old. It was so much fun getting together and eating up a storm. We all made Mexican food which was delicious! I made enchilada's and they were pretty darn good. Here is the recipe:
Layered Enchilada Bake
1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey burger
1 large onion
2 cups pace chunky salsa
1 can black beans drained & rinsed
1/4 cup zesty Italian dressing
2 tbsp. taco seasoning mix
6 flour tortillas
1 cup sour cream
1 pkg. Mexican style shredded cheese
cook meat w/ onions. add salsa, beans, dressing and seasoning mix; mix well.
line baking dish with foil then spray with Pam so tortillas don't stick. Arrange 3 tortillas single layer, add half meat mixture, half sour cream and then half of the cheese. repeat all layers. Cook 400' cover with foil for 30 min. add chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce if you desire.
This recipe will even impress the greatest of cooks.

This is an update on the growing belly! Today we had our 29 week appointment. I know I look HUGE! I see Dr.Housel, but today we saw Dr. Bier. My doc was having a sick day. The baby weight is 3 1/2 Lbs. We didn't get a good picture of him today because he was facing away from the camera.
